Step back in time to 2004 at Shelby County High School, where it all began. Nestled in the charming town of Shelbyville, Kentucky, our alma mater has been the starting point for many memorable stories. Our high school days were defined by our Rocket pride, Friday night lights, school dances, band concerts, and, most importantly, the relationships we cultivated.
In 2004, we walked the hallways together, solved equations, discovered Shakespeare, cheered at the pep rallies, and maybe even served a few detentions. Let’s not forget those memorable teachers who left an indelible mark on our lives. We left the school ready to conquer the world, armed with knowledge, passion, and the support of our Rocket family.
Our Shelbyville, the Saddlebred Capital of the World, was a perfect blend of Southern charm and the spirit of progress in 2004. While we navigated the teenage trials and tribulations, Shelbyville saw a few notable changes too. Perhaps you remember when the Downtown Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places that year. The town kept growing, just like us.
